I gotta be honest, I was really surprised by the quality of this place. I’ve lived in Morristown for 43 years and this is by far the most quality food I have had so far. The squid ink pasta was phenomenal, so was the rock shrimp. For dinner I had the pork chop, which was great, but my friend had the chicken and surprisingly I thought it was better. I cannot wait to return and work my way through the menu. The bread service is incredible and unlike anything I’ve ever had before. Spicy rigatoni was amazing. This is the best scratch kitchen restaurant I’ve been to in New Jersey. Every dish was so intentional, and an experience. You can tell they put a lot of thought and care into each dish. Everything is made in scratch, so my dad loved the Branzino fish. I’m a huge pasta girl so I loved them as well, especially knowing they were handmade. I had the chance to eat at Cotto, and everything was perfect. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful, and the whole vibe was amazing. Our waiter Aurora was so great, super attentive, incredibly kind, and really knew the menu, which made the experience even better. We just tried the brand new Cotto and the food was delicious.
